Start a Computer Consulting Business! Video

http://SuccessfulComputerConsulting.com - If you're a Computer Consultant, you could be making $66K working 10 Hours a WEEK doing Independent Computer Consulting! Learn how at: http://SuccessfulComputerConsulting.com

Do you have the Network Administration skills to support a small business network? Then you should start your own Independent Computer Consulting business!

The following video is the first in a four-part series, which debunks the most common excuses consultants typically give for not attempting to become their own boss.

With today's low cost Network Monitoring and Remote Administration tools, it's easier than ever for a Network Administrator to support a small, but very profitable client base.

I've helped many of my previous employees branch out on their own to become very successful Independent Consultants and they now continue to help me support my growing client base as outsourced contractors. It's a very healthy win-win situation.

As an Independent Computer Consultant, you'll have a level of job security you'll never be able to obtain working for someone else, an unmatched opportunity for technical and professional growth and you'll be able to make better than a full-time salary while working far less than the standard, 40 hour work week.

Working as an Independent Computer Consultant is honestly the best possible job for someone with Network Administration skills, plus it's the perfect business model for supporting the small business customer.

Most consultants I meet hesitate to try and start their own business because they think they'll need to find lots and lots of high-paying clients who can provide tons of billable hours and big projects.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

Here in New York, an Independent Computer Consultant with a client base of FOUR small business clients (an average of 10 workstations each), can be making over $66K annually while working approximately 10 hours a week.

Of course, you have the option to work more than that and make much more money, but the point is that a steady, sustainable salary can be reached quickly and easily.

I've put together a website designed to instruct and assist new Independent Computer Consultants reach this level of success as quickly as possible. It's located at http://www.SuccessfulComputerConsulting.com.

On the site are a collection of free videos showing you exactly how you can obtain the results that I've helped many other consultants achieve. You'll need to register on the site to gain access to the videos, but registration is completely free and takes less than a minute to complete.

So, what's my motivation for suggesting to you that you become your own boss? I have several reasons.

Well, I spent a lot of years struggling to achieve the level of success I now enjoy. If I knew then what I know now, my road to success would have been much shorter and far easier.

I've shared what I've learned with many of the consultants I've come to know personally over the years, and they've gone on to achieve greater levels of personal and financial freedom than I could ever have provided them if I held onto them as "employees". And because I've built my own business to take full advantage of the use of Independent contractors, the more they prosper, the more I prosper as well.

The personal reward I get from knowing that I've helped a friend develop a career where they'll never again need to worry about finding employment, paying the bills or becoming stagnant in their quest for personal growth can't possibly be expressed adequately in words.
Because I know how to quickly and easily build a profitable Independent Computer Consulting business, and I know how to transfer that knowledge to others and watch them succeed, I've become addicted to wanting to help more.

This passion for wanting to see others reach a level of success that they either didn't realize was possible or thought would be too great a challenge to attempt is the primary reason behind why I created the http://www.SuccessfulComputerConsulting.com website.

The realization of how many more people I could help by sharing my processes over the web made the development of this website a very rewarding experience.

I sincerely hope you'll consider my advice of pursuing a career as an Independent Computer Consultant and at the very least, check out the free videos I've made available on my website. I don't believe you'll find a more rewarding career opportunity anywhere.

To your success!

-Robert Peretson

good point. I need to try to not be so scared and just stay positive about it. And I actually have access to the MSDAA through my college which gives me a ton of free MS software which I really should make more use of. I'll check out your other videos? here in a bit.

I know exactly ...
I know exactly where you're coming from. You've gotta start somewhere, right? I'm just saying that it's a pretty short road to get to the point where you can do this business. It's not like training to become a lawyer. It can be self-taught very fast. Look into the Microsoft Action Pack Subscription. It's a great way to get your hands on all of the MS server software at? a very affordable price. All the requirements are listed on their site. I can't post links here. Just Google it.

good point. I am ...
good point. I am comfortable with a LOT of less complex technical stuff, but I've just? never had experience with large server systems, and would feel uncomfortable managing such an environment until I get some good experience -- thats the good thing about those "$35/hour gigs" some other user commented about. Its an essential stepping stone to where you could be down the road such as where your friend is with his $166+k job

Thanks for the kind words. Glad you enjoyed the info. It really doesn't take much to get familiar enough? with small business technology where you can support a small business network. If you've got technical skills, you can pick this up very quickly. Plus, if you do things right, most of the hard stuff gets outsourced anyway. If you have any questions, email me anytime! -Rob

Very awesome info ...
Very awesome info in this video! I myself am working on my? Bachelors degree in system administration but at the same time I have been working 5 years in retail and have literally no field experience with sysadmin type work -- only stuff learned in class and at home, which is quite inferior to real world work experience, IMO. I might like to open my own business like this some day but as for now I just dont have the core tech experience.

If your maintenance ...
If your maintenance plan doesn't do anything for the client, then they shouldn't pay (and you won't be very successful). If your maintenance plan helps them prevent problems, clients will gladly pay for the service. They need to pay for support one way or? the other. Either they can pay someone by the hour to fix problems when they pop up... or they can be more efficient by paying a smart consultant to monitor the systems and prevent the problems from happening in the first place.

This still doesnt ...
This still doesnt address the issue of not enough clients- it just plays a number game of IF you have clients that will be on a maint plan then of course you'll be okay. The majority of clients and other? professionals tell me that they dont like/do maint plans- they're not dumb, they wont pay you for potentially doing nothing.
